The new badge is designed by Alex Young a local 17 year old Graphics and Digital Design college student who attends UTC@Mediacity.

We asked him to create a new badge for our 30th Anniversary. Something that represented our club, inspired by the local area.

Alex researched the local area with the help of Glenn Kennedy a Winton local and Genologist, who kindly offered his knowledge and services free of charge. We are very grateful and highly recommend Glenn to anybody who would like family trees or local history researching.

The club is delighted with Alex and his design. We would all like to thank Alex for the time and effort he has dedicated.

We would like to take this opportunity to explain Alex’ design and where he sought inspiration.

The De Winton family coat of arms now features on our new crest. The De Winton family were the first to settle on the land and who the area takes it's name from.

It also includes a barge to signify the importance of the Bridgewater canal. Steeped in local history, and contributing to putting the local area on the map. Most people recognise the canal for its once bright orange colour. The Bridgewater canal also borders our Cranbrook site.

We are excited to launch the new badge in collaboration with our 30th anniversary. A badge that incorporates the local area and our club.
