After a long 2 week break the girls are ready to get back it with a game at home against AFC Bolton. A minute silence was conducted impeccabl  by both teams before kick off to share our respect for remembrance weekend.

The girls started the game well communicating to each other and with a long shot form Millie, on a rare chance playing out of goal firing the team ahead 1-0, great finish.

The girls energy seemed to drop all at once after the goal and they become second to everything making the game extremely challenging for ourselves with the Bolton side scoring 2 goals to lead 2-1 at half time.

It was a shadow of anything we knew from these girls this season and seemed like this long break was having more impact than we thought.

A strong team talk from the coaches attempting to fire up these girls was called for now looking to salvage something from this game.

The girls started well but unfortunately we had to lose Emma after 10 minutes due to remembrance Sunday commitments who was playing really well.

We moved to a 3-4-3 formation to give ourselves the best chance of a comeback.

Suddenly a fantastic turn from Sienna sent the defender for a newspaper and fired the ball into the near post top corner with a fantastic shot making it 2-2!

The team has a massive confidence boost with the players running effortlessly through the opposition now seemingly at ease.

A beautiful piece of skill from Charlotte that bamboozle  the opposition and made the 2 defenders walk into each other, allowed her to switch the ball to Georgia who whips the ball into the top corner WOW! A top top finish that put us a goal ahead of the game.

As the game slows down with energy starting to deplete our players again but Millie finds the ball in the box and loops it over the keeper to make it 4-2! 2 for our usual number one.

Scarlette, Beau and Lily B were holding the line well as a back 3 with Ashton playing as a sweeper keeper.

Unfortunately though in the last 5 minutes AFC on a speedy counter make the score 4-3!

The Sharks however were able to see the victory out, a perfect reaction to such a slow first half.

Girl of the game was voted Charlotte for being a bright spark in attack that was leaving the defenders always guessing.
