Todays Match Report
Pumas - 2
Vs
Leopards - 2
Derby Day
Was always going to be a tough tight game when your playing a derby and today was a very good example, both teams were fired up and the game was very cagey, no one wants to make a mistake yet everyone wants to be the hero.
First half was really tight with both teams having good chances but most of the play was in the middle and very scrappy, probably a fair result at half time with it ending 0-0.
Second half did come alive though and it was the Leopards who took the first goal with a good free kick from Oscar Siolkowski into the top corner. The Pumas pushed on though and created the better chances but the leopards keepers was superb. The lions did draw level though through a lack of concentration at the back and Freddy Pierce pounced to put the ball home.
After that the pumas seemed to be the ones looking more likely to score but they never got the rub of the green but it was the leopards who took there chance up the other end with a well taken goal with Harvey Karinge chipping the keeper.
The game looked to be heading for a leopards win with the game becoming more frustrating for the Pumas and some fantastic goalkeeping, but with seconds remaining and some fantastic footwork it was smashed into the top corner by the Forward Macauley Crimes, superb goal.
The final whistle followed and probably a fair result for both sets of players, coaches and parents who were all a credit to our club, so well done everyone
